Community Events & Socials

APTB Social Events are opportunities to gather with members of the community in fellowship and fun. There is no spiritual component to these social events -
just plain old-fashioned fun!
APTB Programming Committee is finalizing our fall lineup -
Stay tuned for programming information and registration links!
Interested in joining the Programming Committee?  Please contact Kelly Lemens for more information.
Sip & Create Art Nights
- 4th Friday of the Month -
Time: 6:00-8:30 p.m. | Facilitator: Varies | Suggested Donation: Varies
TGIF! At the end of the week, don't we all deserve to relax, enjoy amazing company, and let our creativity shine? Join us for our Friday Art Fun Nights, where we welcome guests to participate in an evening of art and refreshments. Each month we will feature an instructor-led art project with supplies on hand for anyone who would like to join us in creativity and friendship. This is a great opportunity to gather your friends or bring mom for a “date night.” So whether you are a seasoned artist or have no art experience, we would love to welcome you for socialization and self-expression at our Friday Art Fun Nights! Registration requested so we can make sure we have enough supplies.

Ageing Gracefully:

An Invitation to Practice Grace as We Go Through the Ageing Process

2nd Saturday of the month - 10am - 11:15 am

AUG 8 * SEPT 12 * OCT 10 * NOV 14 * DEC 12

Suggested Donation:  $50

Unlike the Breaking Free journaling series (graffiti journaling), this journaling series is far more contemplative and inward focused. Using multiple articles and book excerpts, group discussions, reflective prompts and guest presenters...everyone will be experiencing their own personal journey deeper into the aging self.

Maybe, just maybe...this is an invitation to lose the burden of being someone you once were, and step into and show up "As is"...as the person you are in this very moment.

Note: If you prefer to pay by cash or check in person, please register by emailing Kelly

Here are a few picks from last year's retreat:

"It was an inspiring retreat!"                                                      "Love the group. Love the friends"
Thank you, Rae, for leading us and thanks to all who participated!
