Did you know that in our stomachs live thousands of good and bad bacteria – tiny microorganisms that live in our gut and intestines and help our bodies process and internalize the food we eat. Research has shown that keeping these tiny organism happy is a key component in keeping our bodies happy. In other words, a healthy gut equals a healthy body! So how do we keep our guts happy?
In this workshop, you will learn the importance of gut health and how it relates to your overall health. We will explore what a low glycemic diet is, how it maintains a healthy digestive system, and how modern farming and crop production methods impact the overall nutritious content of our food.
