Giving Tuesday is on Tuesday, December 3, 2024
This Giving Tuesday, we ask for your support of our mission in raising $1,500.
Your gift enables us to continue our mission of dismantling barriers, cultivating diversity and engaging in reflective dialogue. Your generosity allows folks of all traditions and spiritualities to have community and companions on the journey. We cannot do this work without your support - thank you!

The global generosity movement, #Giving Tuesday, is a time to celebrate and support the noble work of nonprofit organizations. Giving Tuesday envisions a world based on radical generosity. A world where someone else’s suffering is as intolerable to us as our own suffering. A world where neighbors help neighbors. A world where everyone has what they need. Unite with us to accompany those seeking a deeper connection with their spirituality and faith through prayer, bible studies, good groups, retreats, art nights, potlucks, drumming and many more community events. Our groups include folks who are spiritual seekers as well as those who are disenfranchised and full of doubts and questions. In the words of one of our participants, “A Place To Be is a deeply rewarding spiritual resource center”.
APTB’s 2024 #GivingTuesday fundraising goal is $1,500. These funds will be used to help those who have been estranged from their religion, or are just “lost” and/or seeking an authentic spiritual community who might not be able to afford our offerings.
All of our courses, community events are free to those that are unable to pay. Our Center is open to everyone, no matter why they have come or their ability to pay. If you prefer, you can also mail or drop off a check to: A Place To Be Spiritual Center 166 W. Dekora Street Saukville, WI 53080 Every dollar helps us offer our retreats and community offerings to more people. As always, no questions asked! |
I have been participating in many of the offerings at A Place To Be for about 3 years now. Why? I like the variety of offerings – something of interest for everyone. I have personally experienced the solemnity of drumming, in-depth book studies, informative Bible studies, educational and spiritual growth retreats, personal support and deep sharing within a Sacred Circle group, fun art/craft nights and Dine to Donate dinners to mention just a few. There are other events I have yet to attend like Friday potluck/game nights or Euchre card nights and more. I have experienced fellowship, emotional support, laughter and the forming of new friendships. I look forward to continued involvement in the future. Give it a try. I think you will like it. -Judy- |
All are welcomed, all are supported, all are included in the APTB ministry.
