I’m 6’0” tall. My visual images tend to accentuate this biological fact.
This portrait does not focus on my physical features… its emphasis is on who and what I stand for… God’s Goodness & Beauty ….LOVE leads my way.
The LIVE stone identifies the acronym I have taken on to remind me of my life’s mission.
L…Love Leads the Way, my efforts are a Labor of Love, the importance of Laughter, Letting my Light shine!
I…Inspiration, Imagination, Inside Out Living, Integrity, Inclusiveness, Integration, accepting Invitations
V…giving Voice to my Vision, Vulnerability
E…Exploring, Encouraging, Engaging with others

In this reflection…I’ve decided to become a Big City Girl. I moved to Minneapolis in my 20’s. Using washi tape to help dictate the background and overall tone…this image suggests being a face among many.

I blended in as an anonymous individual.

This image represents my teens. A rough time in my life.

Struggling with an eating disorder…my inner spark nearly gone…there is not much “substance” to this image.

I refer to “her” as Bat Kol.  The Divine speaking into her life.
Using imagination…The head is predominantly placed on a turquoise mountain top (think Mt. Rushmore).  She is alive with Colors. The sun is seen as a yellow flowering image. In her world…violet clouds do indeed exist!  For me, the color blue often represents the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Up close and personal…being Vulnerable…I allow myself to acknowledge I still have anger and sadness while I pursue to Create my own Joy.  I Give Voice to all of me.

Using make up sponges and ink …my intent was to give a stained glass effect to this portrait.

Again, going back to the fact I’m tall and thin…this image of a Sunflower seen from a distance.

I focus (as best as I can) to be a positive person; trusting that Goodness is always there, somewhere!  I grow towards experiences that inspire me; providing Light and Nourishment. I, too, desire to be a source of Light as I express more of who I really am.
