#GivingTuesday - 11/29/22
GivingTuesday envisions a world based on radical generosity. A world where someone else's suffering is as intolerable to us as our own suffering. A world where neighbors help neighbors. A world where everyone has what they need...
Help us continue our mission to build an authentic spiritual community where all are welcomed, all are supported, and all are included.
APTB’s fundraising goal is $1,500. These funds will be used to purchase technology that will enrich our retreat program experiences for our online community as well as those unable to attend these offerings in person, thus making spirituality accessible to folks in all walks of life.
This year you can make an easy, secure contribution through our website here.

We will once again be participating in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This year's theme is: Do good; seek justice. -Isaiah 1:17
We will keep you posted with more information as this week draws nearer.
Christian mission begins with friendship—not utilitarian friendship, the religious version of network marketing—but genuine friendship, friendship that translates love for neighbors in general into knowing, appreciating, liking, and enjoying this or that neighbor in particular. . . .

We want to hear from you!
As we continue to make plans for the future of our offerings, we would like to hear from you! Please take a moment to fill out this short survey. Your response will help us to understand the best way to move forward on our journey together. Thank you so much for your time and input!
Beloved Presence on my path of life,
thank you for the footprints left on my heart:
the soft and gentle ones that brought comfort,
the deep and lasting ones of enduring friendship,
the lightly passing ones conveying kindness,
the heavy ones causing necessary change,
and the impressionable footprints swept away by time.
Even though lost, forgotten, or not recognized,
these visitors have led me to live more fully
the innate goodness residing deep within me.
How grateful I am.
Give me the grace to care without neglecting my needs...
The humility to assist without rescuing...
The kindness to be clear without being cold...
The mercy to be angry without rejecting...
The prudence to disclose without disrespecting my privacy...
The humor to admit human failings without experiencing shame...
And the compassion to give freely without giving myself away.
A collision of opposites forms the cross of Christ.
One leads downward preferring the truth of the humble.
The other moves leftward against the grain.
But all are wrapped safely inside a hidden harmony:
One world, God's cosmos, a benevolent universe.
