Hello, my name is Dawn Stacey. I am a licensed PTA and a yoga instructor. Yoga is for everybody and every Body can be a yogi! I invite you to start a yoga journey with me. I have been teaching yoga for a decade, but I distinctly remember my first yoga class at a gym in Upstate New York over 20 years ago. I do not remember the poses that we practiced but I remember the feeling I had at the end of class. I wanted to help others feel as good as I did after that final pose! Since that first class, I have become 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher trained, I have read a mountain of yoga books, I have taught at YMCAs, in gyms, in churches, and in studios. I have taught senior classes, teen classes, classes for gymnasts, for runners, in chairs. My approach to teaching emphasizes a personal approach to yoga, with a focus on helping students discover greater ease in their body through moment, breath, and meditation.
