Item: Watercolor Batik Value: $150 Artist Statement: This batik is created on Dragon Cloud Mulberry Paper. It is a resist process using a multi-layering technique of watercolor and hot wax. The paper is semi-transparent, with long, wispy fibers running through it. This paper gives batiks a beautiful texture and a unique look. Item: “Inner Soulscape” Mixed Media Atmospheric Landscape Value: $75 Artist Statement: My painting process this go around was oriented towards working with techniques we will experiment with in “Breaking Free”, the creative journaling group that will begin in February, 2026.
Inner Soulscape is a prayer to Creativity itself. The vast majority of the painting is composed of 4 different cans of spray paint. I used colors that my soul resonates with and calms my Being-ness. I hope that whomever receives this piece of artwork finds something of Beauty & Benefit to themselves. |
